Intense Stair Workout

Intense Stair Workout

I posted an intense stair workout video on my YouTube channel. I wanted to compliment it with a blog post. You can do this workout using indoor and outdoor stairs. The exercises are listed below along with the link to the video.

Intense Stair Workout

As a warm up I jogged up and down the stairs using a Single Step. I jogged up and back down three times.

For my first exercise, I elevated my feet on the first step and did Push Ups. It took me a moment to position my hands in a way that felt comfortable on the concrete ground. I did three sets of twelve reps.

Next, I did Balgarian Split Squats. I elevated one leg two steps up behind me and I made sure to flex my foot and point my toes. I did three sets of twelve reps on each leg.

Then, I did Calf Raises. I stood on the end of a step and lifted my toes as high as I could and then lowered down as far as my ankle would let me. I did three sets of twelve reps.

After the calf raises, I did Step Ups with a knee raise. I stepped up on the second step of the staircase and then raised my knee to my chest. I did three sets of twelve reps on each leg.

Lastly, I wrapped up the workout by jogging up and down the stairs using a Double Step. I jogged up and back down three times.
